Hi! I've been a huge Firefly enthusiast since the first (well, first broadcast) episode, and hold a massive Buffyverse crush as well. (I ship Tara and Willow.)
Non exclusively and in no order whatsoever, some non-Whedon joys include all things Cthulhu, pirates, most genre fiction, pagan spirituality, Muppets, filk, the Princess Bride, and board games .. the more complex the better. ("OOOooOo.. All the little pieces.. It must be mine!")
Vegetarian for almost 20 years, I cook for comfort, sysadmin for fun (and at a library system for a living), wrangle with my machines, and while most of the time I can't seem to talk to actual human-type people, I keep trying anyways.
In aid of which, I thought I might actually venture out and try and meet some similar minded folk. Hi, all. :-)
